A Market for Carbon Capture Storage

The EU aims to become climate neutral by 2050 and have a net zero emission of greenhouse gases. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) as a critical technology when it comes to hindering climate change. But today the EU does not have a market for CCS, for example in the same way the EU has for emissions.

LYMEC advocates for creating an EU market for Carbon Capture and Storage, a market for CCS is an important step and a complement to the Emission Trading System in achieving the EU:s climate goals.
