Chiara Olga Liguori

Chiara is currently working in the LYMEC Secretariat as the Project Officer of the organisation, where she plans events, trainings and academies for the European liberal youth. In her role, she liases with several partners to plan and coordinate all aspects of a project, from identifying goals and objectives, to developing a timeline and programme, to taking care of the logistics. Moreover, she also helps the Communication Officer with social media and website managing tasks and assists the Secretary General in the day-to-day running of the organisation. She started her path in LYMEC in 2021, where she has previously worked as Project Assistant and Policy & Trainings Intern.

She holds a Bachelor in Linguistic Mediation for Diplomacy and International Organisations from LIMEC Milan, Italy and she is currently pursuing her MA degree in European Studies at IEE-ULB in Brussels, Belgium. She has lived, worked or studied in four different countries, which increased her interest in European affairs, youth engagement and active citizenship, as well as democracy issues and the Rule of Law. Besides her studies, she is a member of Bringing Europeans Together Association Italia, thus contributing to the development of European consciousness among the youth.
