Antoaneta is a Bulgarian citizen, member of Youth MRF, working in Brussels, Belgium. She is passionate about the integration of the Western Balkan states, migration and asylum policy, and the questions of equal citizenship, including minority rights, linguistic diversity, gender equality, the lack of visa reciprocity and the unification of a two-speeded Europe.
She has a master of law from the “St. Kliment Ohridski” University in Sofia, Bulgaria, and subsequently acquired an LL.M. degree in International and comparative law from Tulane University in the USA under a “Fulbright” scholarship. Antoaneta worked previously as an in-house attorney and a legislative adviser at the Bulgarian National Assembly, and is currently working at the office of a Bulgarian MEP from the ALDE Group at the European Parliament on matters of the competence of the Civil rights, Justice and Home affairs Committee.
