Pau is active both in European affairs and local politics, being the mayoral candidate for the Catalan Democrats (ALDE, Catalonia) in his hometown of Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona). He is also a Member of the National Council Board at JNC (LYMEC, Catalonia).
Throghout the years, he has lived, worked or studied in seven different countries in Europe, North America and East Africa. This great exposure to difference and diversity at a young age has deeply influenced his outlook and is one of the driving factors for his political activism. As a graduate from LSE Philosophy, a department founded by Karl Popper back in 1946, Pau is a firm believer in Open Society values. He is passionate about democratic reform, Human Rights, innovation and the role of youth in political decision-making, having served as a leader in student politics in the past.
Pau has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science, International Relations and Development and a Master of Science (MSc) in Philosophy and Public Policy. He has worked in a variety of sectors, including Foreign Affairs, non-profits and the private sector as the International Manager of a Law firm. Currently, he is starting up his own company.
