DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.lymec.eu/event/policy-debate-post-election
 -3-1/register">Policy Debate Post-election #3</a>\nMarking the third Manif
esto Policy Debate of the 2024 election season\, this online session will
explore the issue of how we navigate the new European Parliament mandate a
fter the European Elections. This debate is proposed to offer an opportuni
ty for reflection and analysis on the election cycle. As liberals\, we are
prepared with a manifesto which we can use to lobby our new MEPs on while
they form key priorities\, and this debate offers an opportunity for us t
o move forward proactively. In addition to promoting a lively debate on ho
w liberals can chart our path forward in the new mandate\, members will be
invited to share their experiences in the campaign period to help us to e
nhance and develop the messaging of our policy points. To help us in the d
iscussion\, we will address these guiding questions: In light of the Europ
ean Elections\, what are the two main policy areas which came up for you m
ost in campaigning? How do liberals respond to these areas? What demands sh
ould be at the top of the new mandate’s agenda? What can ALDE and Renew E
urope do to progress our key priorities in the new mandate? How can we ens
ure that our priorities\, as LYMEC\, are included? “Co-funded by the Eur
opean Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(
 s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or Euro
pean Commission. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can
  be held responsible for them.”
