What does it mean to preserve identity when separation from one’s home becomes prolonged? How do comm unities maintain memory\, belonging and civic engagement away from their r egions of origin? We are honoured to welcome two speakers originating from Crimea and Luhansk who were forced to leave their homes at the outset of the war. The discussion will explore identity\, remembrance\, and pathways forward for displaced communities\, including the experience of Crimean T atars and other minorities particularly affected by the war.
