ate: Sunday\, 26 April 2026\, 1 h 30 slot As part of the Students for Libe
rty Con in Madrid\, the European Liberal Forum (ELF) will host a workshop
on military service and conscription. The format of the event will be a ha
ckathon with teams reflecting together on innovative proposals that they e
ventually present in plenary. The propositions made will feed into ELF's b
roader work on defence and security throughout 2026. With all the many cha
llenges the world is now facing\, it is ever more important to come togeth
er as the pro-liberty movement and discuss how we can navigate further in
such a complex environment. Defence and military capacities are one very i
mportant topic and impacting the youth directly today in 2026. Not to ment
ion that we must gain public support to work on military readiness. The go
al is to facilitate a hackathon with the youth to develop the liberal posi
