etorically defend Ukraine Returning for its 7th edition\, we are pleas
ed to announce LYMEC's next Voices from Ukraine event. This online session
will examine the current dynamics surrounding the West’s lacklustre and
eroding support for Ukraine. Specifically\, it will explore how rhetoric
can both weaken Ukraine's survival\, whereas if used correctly\, it can ha
ve an empowering effect capable of boosting Ukraine’s fight-back effort.
In seeking to explore the communication tools\, strategies and techniques
to ensure Western governments remain committed to Ukraine’s liberation
battle\, the event will also address these guiding questions:How can young
leaders challenge notions that Ukraine is “bound to fail”?What commun
ication tools and strategies are most effective when pushing a pro-Ukraine
message?What is the best way to pressure European governments of the need
to (tangibly) support Ukraine? Join us on 14 May 2024 from 18:00 to 19:30
