LYMEC Bureau is deeply shocked with the news of the crash of flight MH 17 of Malaysian Airlines flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur over Ukrainian territory.
The cause and the circumstances of this tragic accident are still unclear, so we call for an independent investigation which may shed more light onto what has happened.
Our thoughts go out to all the passengers, their families and friends. On behalf of LYMEC as a whole, we would like to express our deepest condolences to our Dutch friends for the loss of one of our collegues and liberal activists.
