We are excited to share the final results of our recent campaign, "Stepping into Adulthood: Can the Youth Overcome Emancipation Challenges?". This initiative aimed to understand the experiences and challenges young adults face as they transition into independent living. With over 250 participants from across Europe, your input has helped shape a comprehensive understanding of what it means to step into adulthood in today's world.

Here are some policy recommendations from the Survey:

1. Educational support for life transitions

• Integrate housing education, including tenant rights, financial literacy, and homeownership basics, into tertiary education curricula. This could prepare young adults for the realities of independent living, particularly for those who move out for university.

2. Cultural and community programs

• Create community programs that support the cultural and psychological transition to adulthood. This could include workshops and discussion groups that help young adults navigate the emotional aspects of leaving home and establishing independence.

3. Tackling youth unemployment & Banning unpaid internships

4. Potential Areas for Exploration:

• Affordable housing initiatives
• Enhanced employment support
• Financial support/Low interest housing loans
