Human Rights Day

Today is Human Rights Day. Today is a good opportunity to remind ourselves that human rights are universal but still not respected everywhere.

China is known for its violations of human rights. On this Human Rights Day, we are calling on the EU member states to boycott the upcoming Olympic Games 2022 in Beijing. We welcome the Women's Tennis Association's decision to suspend all tournaments in China, and hope many will follow their example.

A country carrying out acts of genocide against a religious minority, shouldn’t get any support of European countries living by the EU values of Rule of Law, Democracy and Human Rights.
