As the statutes call for a renewal of the IMS Steering Committee in the 2 months following the election of the new LYMEC Bureau, there is a need to elect 2 new members for the IMS Steering Committee. Here are the four candidates in the elections that will be organised electronically on May 25-28.

Alistair Spearing

Together, we’ll reach out to young liberals in countries where they do not yet have a home.
Together, we’ll make the IMS a key player and a reference in the LYMEC political debate.
Together, we’ll make your voice heard. Come and join me on this exciting adventure!

Eleni Vasileiou

I am passionate about politics, working with other young people, and advocating liberalism in Europe. My vision for the IMS includes more engagement through social media, giving a voice to current members but also expanding the section. Let’s do this together!

Ruslan Abdurakhman

Hello everyone, I’m Ruslan. I was born in Moscow in 1992, and I’m a dual citizen (RUS-ITA). I joined Lymec to make a change, because Liberalism to me is the only instrument that could solve many of today’s problems. My commitment is for personal and economic freedom, and for a United Europe! Together we’ll make the difference!

Tim Robinson

My name is Tim, and I am, variously, an Englishman, a Brit, a Bosnian, a Yugoslav – and of course – a European! I have been taken aback by the incredible opportunities that LYMEC offers to its individual members, and now wish to help expand those to others like myself.
