𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻? Well - it's exactly what it says on the tin: fake news designed to convincingly misrepresent or distort factual matters often for a desired political objective. Too technical? Just think of Putin's Russia.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿? Again, think of Putin's Russia... More seriously, disinformation can come in many forms, from face-to-face to online to bot farms in Siberia. If unaddressed, these methods can pollute our politics with lies.
