LYMEC is excited to welcome the Republic of Croatia as the new member state of the European Union enriching the EU with 4.4 million new citizens, new official languge and beautiful landscapes. Being a strong believer in enlargement of the European Union we are happy to see that the process is still very much alive and that there is still a strong political will to continue the enlargement.
Croatia became the candidate country in 2004 and after historically long and demanding negotiations, signing the Treaty of Accession in Bruxelles on 9 December 2011 and finally becoming the new EU member state today. LYMEC warmly welcomes the 28th EU member state and its citizens.
We look forward to see Croats working with us in creating our joint European dream and hope that we will soon be joined by other European states!
