This European Liberal Forum seminar precedes the LYMEC Autumn Congress and is organised by ELF in cooperation with LYMEC. The aim of the seminar is to equip young liberals with hands on tools and advice for campaigning on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and provide insights to how social media is successfully integrated into a broader elections campaign with the goal of engaging more young people in elections in general, but in particular the 2019 European Parliament Elections.   Session topics Getting the basic rights – Twitter, Instagram and Facebook Going viral – how? Gamification Buying advertisement and boosting posts – how much and when?   The seminar will start on Thursday, 11 October at 16:00 and continue until lunch time on Friday, October 12. As we have limited space for the seminar we can only guarantee one spot per member organisation, and therefore require that organisations registering more than one person clearly indicate the order of preference of their nominees (priority 1, 2, 3 and so on). Please note that the congress fee for those also participating in the seminar is higher (150 euro). Registration for the congress is done separately. Deadline for registrations is extended until Friday, 7 September at 12:00 pm (noon) CEST. As all LYMEC events this seminar also applies the rules of late cancellation and no show fees: Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the event leads to a late cancellation fee of 50 euro, and cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the event or not attending at all leads to a late cancellation fee of 75 euro.
