Returning for its 5th edition, we are pleased to announce the launch of LYMEC’s next “Voices from Ukraine” event. In this online session, we will explore the role of food and environmental security and how Russia’s war on Ukraine has threatened both. This event follows news of Russia’s exit from the Turkish-negotiated grain deal and its recent actions blasting the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam in the occupied Kherson region.

We will be joined by an external speaker and our on-the-ground representatives from ZeMolodizhka (ZM), European Youth of Ukraine (EYU) and Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine (LDLU) to discuss these environmental and agricultural developments and their broader impacts on the war.
