We commit to Mental Health Advocacy!
#WorldMentalHealthDay
Mental health is one of the cornerstones of self-determination and independence. Yet, the stigma persists, and access to assistance remains an uphill battle for many.
LYMEC is committed to dismantling stigmas and elevating care for those who need it.
Access to mental healthcare is just as critical as physical healthcare. Irrespective of physical or mental challenges, everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential. Prevention is the key to nurturing mental well-being.
LYMEC calls for:
- Comprehensive training for educators to prevent mental health issues and combat stigmatization.
- Incentives for young talents to enter the mental health profession, addressing the personnel shortage crisis.
