This two-day European Liberal Forum seminar is aimed at the presidents (or, in case the president is unavailable, vice-presidents) of LYMEC member organisations. The event will gather inputs from Presidents in terms of their priorities for the 2019 election campaign, discuss the LYMEC Electoral Manifesto, facilitate the sharing of best practices among the organisations as well as laying the ground for possible twinning/campaign visits in order to have the best foundation possible for the young liberals’ active participation in the elections and the democratic process. The event is free of charge and ELF will provide the participants with a travel reimbursement of up to 150 euro. Accommodation in twin/double rooms as well as all meals during the event are also provided for. The event starts in the afternoon on Friday, 7 September and runs all of Saturday. Sunday is reserved for check-out and travelling home. Please note that participation in the full event is required in order to be eligible for the travel reimbursement. As all LYMEC events the Young Leaders Meeting also applies the rules of late cancellation and no show fees: Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the event leads to a late cancellation fee of 50 euro, and cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the event or not attending at all leads to a late cancellation fee of 75 euro.
