In our constant efforts to increase the number of opportunities to meet the current leadership and discuss together the main issues we are facing today in Europe, it is time for our first LYMEC Digital Assembly of 2025! 

This event (already our #10 Digital Assembly) will take place online on Saturday, 1st February 2025, from 10 h 00 to 12 h 30 GMT - Belfast time.

This Digital Assembly on ‘The Role of Youth in Charting a Path for Peace’ will start with an interactive policy discussion with high-level speakers on gaining and maintaining peace in post-conflict environments. It will continue with an exchange with members on the internal documents’ revision to Revamp the Code of Conduct, Equality and Diversity Plan, and other internal documents to establish a cohesive framework that enhances safety and efficiency in LYMEC’s activities. The Digital Assembly will conclude with the LYMEC Bureau presenting their work and sharing their plans for the coming months. This will be primarily an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your concerns/comments with the current leadership. 

Questions or comments can be sent to office@lymec.eu and bureau@lymec.eu anytime ahead of the event, otherwise, you are welcome to ask for the floor during the event!

Schedule:

• The meeting will start at 10 h 00 and end around 12 h 30 GMT (Belfast time). 
• The event will take place fully online on Zoom conferencing platform. The link will be sent to registered participants a few days before the event - please check your inbox! 

Registrations:

• Registration is compulsory and is open to LYMEC MOs and IMS only
• Up to 6 delegates can be registered for full-member organisations 
• Up to 3 delegates can be registered for associate member organisations
• Delegates and Steering Committee for IMS can register (in case of additional spaces, more IMS might be accepted)
• You have time to register until Friday, 17 January 2025 at 14 h 00 CET (Brussels time). You are encouraged to register through the following form here!  Please wait for official confirmation of your attendance from the LYMEC Office after the deadline!

The event will be fully online and no participation fee will be requested.

Events organised by European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) may be audio- and video-recorded as well as web-streamed. A photographer and/or a cameraman, contracted by LYMEC, may have access to the meeting room in order to take pictures and videos for communication and publication purposes. Videos and pictures taken by the photographer and/or cameraman, contracted by LYMEC, may also be published on the LYMEC website and on related social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.). They may also be used in other media and means of communication in order to pass on information about the event and activities of LYMEC.
