The network consists of member organisations (MO) and individual members (IM). LYMEC has two types of member organisations: full members and associate members, differing in levels of rights and duties inside the organisation. LYMEC was the first pan-European political organisation to institute the Individual Membership in 1997. Individuals can become members, thus being able to participate in our events, activities and put forward resolutions.
Congratulations to the former president of our member organization @etulib, who just got elected as a member to the ALDE Party Steering Committee! https://t.co/nAArYMHqxQ
Today we mark the the 70th anniversary of the global recondition that every human is born with basic rights.
For centuries we liberals have been a strong force in fighting the oppression and injustice worldwide. On #HumanRightsDay we remind ourselves of it’s importance. https://t.co/rT0X5poiQJ
We’ve been following the charade concerning the Council conclusions on Gender Equality, Youth and Digitalisation and are saddened that culturally conservative member states tries to block previously unchallenged inclusive language.
