Let's Humanise Mental Health

It's time to humanise mental health ❤️‍🩹

Today, LYMEC launched this mini social media campaign because we feel it's imperative to have an ongoing dialogue about mental health rather than just during Mental Health Week!

Three years ago, LYMEC adopted a bold new policy which called for:

📌 breaking down harmful stigmas;

📌 improving access to online psychological counselling;

📌 a special university status to be created for students who suffer from mental health struggles;

The motion also called for the issue to be more normalised as a topic of discussion and understanding within educational institutes.

Mental health deserves our earnest and committed attention and should not be viewed as lesser than physical health challenges.

Share our posts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram to remind others to be mindful of mental health all year round.

But wait... there's more you can do to get involved!

Our in-house magazine team, LIBERTAS, have launched a special call for 100 word letters to the editors on the topic of mental health, of which the best ones will be featured online.

Be as creative as you want, the whole idea is for you to share your thoughts on mental health awareness and how we can combat the stigma attached to it.

To participate in this special call, send over your 100 words to [email protected] (with [email protected] in cc) by 10:00 am CEST (Brussels time) on Wednesday 8 May, 2024.
