She would like to build on the key achievements of this ELF Board mandate (2022-2024). As a member of the ELF Board, Antoaneta has successfully worked on the further development of the hardship funding, the availability of the membership database and the launch of the digital assembly format.
Antoaneta Asenova-Bihlmayer from Bulgaria, holds a Master of laws degree from the “St. Kliment Ohridski” University in Sofia, Bulgaria and a LL.M. degree in “International and comparative law” from Tulane University, USA under a “Fulbright” scholarship. She has worked previously as an in-house attorney and a legislative adviser at the Bulgarian National Assembly, and since 2014 is working with the MRF delegation at the European Parliament. Antoaneta has served as President of the European Liberal Youth - LYMEC (2020-2022) and is further an Alumna of the Alliance of Her 2023 Master Class for female political leadership and has served as Member of the Board of the European Liberal Forum since September 2022.
The European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) would like to present the nomination, together with ELF’s member organisations from the Balkan region - the Boris Divković Foundation (BDF), the Liberal Institute for Political Analyses (LIPA), the Liberal Integration Foundation (LIF) of Mrs Antoaneta Asenova-Bihlmayer to the position of Board Member of the European Liberal Forum.
