LYMEC - IFLRY Representative 2026-2028

Dear LYMEC Members,

Given that the current IFLRY Representative has been elected to the LYMEC Bureau, the Bureau is opening an early call for candidates for the 2026-2028 mandate.

Normally, the Bureau proposes an IFLRY Representative at the Autumn Congress at the beginning of the mandate. Since the current IFLRY Representative was elected to the Bureau, we’re looking for someone to take over on an interim basis as soon as the selection procedure is finished, after which the selected person will be proposed to the Congress for a full two-year mandate at the Autumn Congress 2026 in Vilnius, in line with our Rules of Procedure.

If you are interested in representing European Liberal Youth within IFLRY and serving a bridging function between the two organisations, please submit your application by completing the FORM HERE.

Requirements:

• Be a member of a Full/Associate member of LYMEC or an Individual member.
• Be between 18 - 33 years of age.
• Knowledge of both LYMEC and IFLRY. Engagement in both organisations is a plus.

What we expect from you:

• Report and inform the LYMEC Bureau about IFLRY activities and calls and vice versa.
• Strengthen the relationships between the 2 organisations.
• Available to join in person the IFLRY General Assembly twice a year to represent LYMEC.
• Available to join the LYMEC Congress twice a year and the Digital Assembly twice a year to report back on the work undertaken.
• Be able to join IFLRY Bureau Meetings and, on request, LYMEC Bureau Meetings.

What you can expect: 

• This is a volunteer position. There is no compensation involved. Your necessary expenses will be covered by LYMEC according to our budgetary abilities.
