We are delighted to present the candidates for the IMS Delegate election, which is to be held from 12 to 16 January 2026. An online debate will be held before the election on 8 January 2026.
Three delegates will be elected, and will get to represent the LYMEC Individual Member Section for 2026.
Meet the candidates

Sonja Brandmayr
I am running for election as a young woman, a liberal and a devoted European. I will push for concrete reforms that strengthen Europe’s economy and make it a good place to live, work and build new businesses for our and future generations. I would be honoured to serve as your delegate.

Gerard O’Connor
The IMS provides an essential platform for young people across Europe to make their voices heard. With your support, I will use my prior experience as a national organisation President to amplify your views and advance your priorities.

Vinayakan Sajeev Beena
As an innovation policy advocate, I work to advance liberal values through youth engagement, open markets, and international cooperation. I seek to strengthen IMS representation within LYMEC and contribute to a liberal agenda that empowers individual members and supports innovation, freedom, and democratic resilience

Isobel Roche
I am a corporate governance professional based in Dublin and active in Fianna Fáil and Ógra. I am passionate about growing the IMS, ensuring diverse voices are heard, ensuring active participation and engagement. My values include advancing climate action, a strong European economy, and inclusive, feminist, and liberal values.

Klajdi Selimi
Klajdi Selimi is standing for IMS Delegate to bring structure, direction and continuity. He believes representation only matters when individuals are organised, informed and able to turn ideas into outcomes. His focus is on strengthening coordination, making participation accessible and ensuring individual voices translate into real influence.

Michele Frangella
I am a liberal, pro-freedom activist committed to European integration, civil rights, and institutional reform. I work to advance individual liberty, democracy, and accountable governance. With experience in civic engagement and policy advocacy, I aim to strengthen LYMEC’s mission through evidence-based action, principled dialogue, and a resolute commitment to progress.
Max Steinmann
Senior BA student in International Relations & Economics, active in IFLRY and LYMEC’s Security & Defence Working Group, with experience in partnership-building and pan-European cooperation. I’m a self-starter committed to strengthening Europe through liberal engagement, amplifying diverse IMS voices, and delivering constructive, effective representation and resolutions within LYMEC.


Fabian Grepper
My name is Fabian Grepper, I’m a 26-year-old history student and young professional from Switzerland. My main interests are infrastructure policy, environmental politics, and inclusion as well as disabled rights. My interest in foreign policy also overlaps with my interest in foreign cultures and travel. In the past I already had the opportunity to work extensively within LYMEC. Furthermore, a great passion of mine is art and classical music, to this day you can meet me, whenever possible, at museums, exhibitions, or the concerts.
