In accordance with LYMEC's statutes, the IMS Steering Committee undergoes renewal within two months following the election of the new LYMEC Bureau. Two dynamic young liberals will join this committee and contribute with their ideas and expertise.
- The Steering Committee for the Individual Members' Section coordinates, oversees, and animates activities within the IMS section. It serves as a liaison with the LYMEC Bureau to ensure alignment with strategic development goals. Additionally, the Steering Committee represents the interests of Individual Members within LYMEC.
- The committee members chosen must be highly motivated to enhance the working structures of the Steering Committee, drive forward the IMS section, and should commit sufficient time to fulfil their responsibilities. This last point is very important; the mandate should be taken seriously.
The elections will take place between Friday 19 June at 10 h 00 am CEST and Monday 22 June at 10 h 00 CEST. The results will be announced shortly after the end of the elections. The elections will be conducted online, in accordance with the statutes of the organisation. A separate email with instructions regarding the voting will be sent in due time.
All Individual Members who have registered and paid their membership fee by Tuesday, 09 June 2026 (EOB) are eligible to vote in the elections. If you are unsure about the status of your membership and your eligibility to vote, please contact project@lymec.eu.
An online debate between candidates will take place before the elections. Details about the debate TBC.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the elections, please feel free to contact project@lymec.eu.

Candidates for the IMS Steering Committee 2026-2028
Two will be elected.
Amanda Fagerström
I first entered politics through youth activism and a local NGO, without a youth wing to join. That experience made me understand the importance of accessible political engagement. IMS plays a key role in keeping LYMEC open to all liberal-minded young people, and I want to help strengthen that role.
Michele Frangella
Michele Frangella is an Italian liberal activist and International Studies student
committed to building a new generation of internationally connected liberals. Through
political activism, human rights advocacy, and cooperation with European and global
liberal networks, he works to advance democracy, individual freedom, technological progress, and a stronger, future-oriented liberal movement.
Jack Hare
As a committed liberal activist, pro European campaigner, and President of the London branch of Young European Federalists, I want to strengthen the voice of Individual Members within LYMEC. I will champion democracy, civil liberties, human rights, housing reform, and greater member engagement across Europe.
Vinayakan Sajeev Beena
I am standing to activate the IMS through regular monthly meetings, stronger engagement through our biweekly newsletter, and clearer onboarding practices for new members joining LYMEC. I want Individual Members to understand how LYMEC works, where they can contribute, and how their voices can shape European liberal politics.
