IMS Delegate Elections 2026

We are pleased to announce the annual elections for the IMS delegates for 2026 will take place from 12 to 16 January 2026. Considering the upcoming Spring Congress 2026, we are now accepting applications for the three available positions!

The deadline for applications is 18 December 2025 at 18h00 CET. To apply, please send the following materials to project@lymec.eu  with ims@lymec.eu in copy.

  • A motivation letter (pdf file, max. 500 words)
  • A picture for the website 
  • A short motivation/description for the website (max 50 words) 


Candidate Information and Election Process

All candidates will be featured on the LYMEC website and all IMS will be notified via email. An online debate will be held before the election on 8 January. Candidates may also campaign on social media. Only Individual Members who have paid their membership fee by 18 December 2025 are able to run and vote in the elections.

The voting will take place online from 12 to 16 of January 2026. A voting link will be sent to all IMS who have paid their membership by December 18, 2025.


Important Note: IMS Delegate Commitment

Being an IMS delegate is a significant commitment. Delegates are expected to:

  • Represent Individual Members at LYMEC Congresses.
  • Coordinate IMS inputs (resolutions, motions, amendments).
  • Liaise with the Steering Committee.
  • The mandate covers two Congresses:
    • Spring Congress 2025 (17-19 April, Vienna, Austria)
    • Autumn Congress 2025 (November, location TBD)
