AI is taking an ever more prominent role in shaping our societies. While embracing technological advancements, we
must look at the latest impact of the use of AI in elections across Europe. From the European elections to the Romanian
Presidential elections, disinformation was spread in very diverse and efficient ways, relying heavily on AI. This is a
challenge we must address. The discussion will look into the way forward in the use of AI in politics and assess the
impact of AI on recent electoral outcomes.
