The RENEW Europe Group in the European Parliament, together with the European Liberal Youth LYMEC, Young Democrats for Europe (YDE) and les Jeunes En Marche (JEM), are organising a 2-day event on November 19-20, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium.

The 2024 European Parliament elections showed a worrying trend. Youth participation declined, and in several Member States many young voters turned to anti-democratic and extremist political forces. This is concerning, and we want to counter this by renewing our outreach to young people and involving them in the shaping of our ideas. In 2025, the Renew Europe Group hosted the first Youth Summit of this mandate: we welcomed 100 young people to Parliament for two days. With discussions on topics such as mental health, the Erasmus program or enlargement, alongside practical communication training, these days proved to be a rich learning experience for all. Also in 2026, we want to keep the dialogue with youth going: we are again inviting 100 youth participants to a conference where we will work together to develop ideas for change and a better future. The conference is designed by young people, for young people and will offer a space to listen, collaborate, and think up concrete solutions. Together, we will turn ideas into action and shape the future Europe deserves.

What to Expect

During 2 days of training, workshops, and network opportunities, Renew Europe reaffirms its strong commitment to youth. Building on the RENEW Europe Youth Manifesto, we aim to motivate liberal and democrat-minded young people to get involved, take the lead, and strengthen our vibrant network of young leaders. 

Together, we will connect youth voices with key stakeholders, Members of the European Parliament, national MPs, Commissioners, youth organisations, civil society actors and more from across the Renew Europe family.

Participants will:

• Engage in open exchanges with MEPs, ALDE and EDP representatives, Renew Europe staff, and inspiring guests.
• Collaborate and share ideas with guests and young leaders from across Europe and beyond.

The European Liberal Youth LYMEC has the opportunity to send a delegation of 25 people to the event.

To apply for the Renew Europe Youth Summit, please complete the registration form by the deadline: 25th of August 2026, 10h00 (CEST)

Age requirement: Minimum age to participate is 18; recommended maximum age is 29.

Please note: Spots in this event are limited, and selected participants will be notified directly. Renew Europe will cover accommodation and meals for the duration of the event. Travel costs will be refunded after the event, based on the country participants are travelling from. 

Priorities will be given to participants who have never joined a RENEW Europe Event.
