FNF Europe fringe event - "Disinformation as a tool for illiberal agendas: how to address this threat?"

Whether you are a delegate of the LYMEC Electoral Spring Congress 2024 or not, you are welcome to register to this FNF Europe fringe event! This event will take place on Friday, 22 March 2024, from 10h00 am to 14h00pm CET (Brussels time) - lunch included - in Brussels, Belgium, at the Open VLD Headquarters!
With increasingly better digital tools, we believe disinformation is and will be a serious threat during the EU Elections 2024. As liberals, we believe in facts and science. We have a role in making sure young people have access to the necessary tools and background knowledge to avoid falling into the ‘fake news’, mass manipulation and misinformation circle. This is why we want to focus on training young European citizens to be able to make their free and informed decisions in the voting booth ahead of the upcoming EU Elections 2024.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide travel reimbursement or accommodation but the event will take place just after the ALDE Congress and before the LYMEC Congress. Both happen to be organised in Brussels.
