Marking the inaugural Manifesto Policy Debate of the 2024 European election cycle, this online session will explore the issue of climate justice. Amid rapidly changing weather patterns and inspired by a recent resolution adopted at LYMEC's Spring 2023 Congress in Budapest, Hungary, the event will explore how, as young liberals, we should advocate for environmentally just policies. Drawing on the experience of our members and other experts, the session also aims to identify helpful campaign messaging tactics to elevate the issue ahead of several crucial elections.

In addition to promoting a lively debate on how liberals can advance a winning message that addresses the multitude of issues associated with climate change, the event will also dedicate significant attention to addressing the following intersections with other key campaign issues, such as migration.
