Marking the second Manifesto Policy Debate of the 2024 election season, this online session will explore the issue of a Liberal Path in the Digital Space: AI and its Ethics. Inspired by a whole chapter of policy on digital technology within LYMEC’s Policy Book, the debate setting will explore how, as young liberals, we should navigate the debate around AI and its implications especially ahead of a crucial set of elections.

In addition to promoting a lively debate on how liberals can advance a winning message that addresses the multitude of issues associated with the digital transformation, this event will also dedicate time to addressing the following intersections with other key campaign issues, such as climate change and human rights.
