Our deepest thoughts are with the victims of the horrible attack on Charlie Hebdo and their families. This is not only an attack on the magazine but on all of us who believe in the basic right of freedom of speech.
The attack will not make us quiet, only fight harder for a free and democratic Europe.
LYMEC believes that no religion is above critique or satire, and we will continue to fight for secularism and against those who want to impose their opinions on others or censor our thoughts and words.
Together with our French members, Jeunes Radicaux de Gauche, and with IFLRY, LYMEC has issued a press release on the topic.
